Overview

Namumpa Morals Initiative (NMI) addresses corruption and bribery as deep-rooted moral challenges that undermine justice, equality, and national development. Corruption and bribery distort systems, reward dishonesty, and weaken institutions meant to serve the public good.

We work to confront these vices through moral education, sensitization, and community engagement—promoting integrity, fairness, and accountability in all aspects of life.

Understanding Corruption & Bribery

Corruption and bribery occur when individuals abuse power or position for personal gain. These practices appear in many forms, including:

  • Bribery for services, jobs, or favors

  • Bribery for marks, grades, or academic advancement

  • Vote-buying and electoral malpractice

  • Abuse of authority and public resources

  • Favoritism, nepotism, and unethical influence

Such practices normalize dishonesty and weaken the moral fabric of society.
